#172192 - Can AT89C5131 work with 2Gbyte NAND Flash?
I search and find out that the AT89C5131 can work with K9K1G08 1GBit NAND Flash Memory http://www.atmel.com/journal/d...assSto.pdf

I have never had any experience with this kind of interface ... I wonder that the AT89C5131 also can work with the K9WAG08U1M (1Gbyte, 2Gbyte NAND Flash memory) as well http://www.samsung.com/global/bu...mly_id=159 ?

Thanks for any help

Lots of money for 2GB "regular" flash            01/01/70 00:00
depends on how much (s)he needs            01/01/70 00:00
It depends on something else, too            01/01/70 00:00
                     purchasing NAND flash            01/01/70 00:00
And the need seems to be 2GB (or more)            01/01/70 00:00
My question about the MCU can work with the 2Gbyte            01/01/70 00:00
You'll have to select a specific nand flash IC            01/01/70 00:00

apparently, he doesn't want to read the datasheets            01/01/70 00:00
NANDs tend to have a uniform hardware interface...            01/01/70 00:00
                              I wouldn't be concerned about wear-leveling            01/01/70 00:00
