2 monitors? What for? I use 4 computers on my one 28" flat-panel via a KVM switch. If you've only got 1 monitor, you can only see & use one of those computers at a time. Sure, with a 28" screen you have lots of space for lots of windows all at once! :-) One of the reasons why people have 2 monitors on the same PC is that such big monitors have only (relatively) recently become viable - so people might have 2 "small" monitors already available. An advantage I find with 2 separate monitors (on the same PC) is that you can maximise an application in each one - rather than having to manually size them on a single monitor. Also, with 2 separate monitors, you cah have a KVM switch (or switches) so that you can see 2 different PCs at once The KVM switch saves lots of space otherwise required by monitors, keyboards, etc. Absolutely! I have one of these: ![]() http://www.kvmswitchdirect.com/acatalog/...tches.html it lets me share a screen, keyboard, and mouse as a 2nd interface on 2 laptops, and the main interface on a desktop (at one time, 2 desktops).
