Richard, I remember having you shown application notes from manufacturers of microcontrollers, which demand the use of a reset controller in conjunction with flash code memory micros.

I don't use reset controllers to solve or cure any problem, but because the manufacturer of my micro recommends this. And surprise, I never had any problems in my applications with this microcontroller, even under the harshest operating conditions, since years.

Richard, I don't report on any problems, because I don't have any. I don't have to prove anything. I don't even say, that what you state is wrong. Maybe you are alright. But as long as I use a reset controller, I don't have had any problems I could have to report on.
