#169505 - No need for long legalese Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Some companies saves on the ink, and just settles for:
(c) W Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. 2004 All rights reserved. Printed in U.S.A. On one hand, that little (c), a name and a year is enough. But the "All rights reserved." means that your access to the document should not be seen as if the company have given away any of the rights they automatically have from being the copyright holders. There really is no need to spend pages upon pages with legalese. If the document is copyrighted, and there isn't a clause explicitly allowing you to distribute the information, then you are not allowed to. |
