#168762 - project help-GPS and GSM based vehicle tracking
My group has decided to do final year project on "vehicle tracking and security system using GPS and GSM.We have collected information about this project from http://ieee-aess.org/main/inde...Itemid=108. but we require complete interfacing diagram with 8052 controller. And we are some what confused on base station.
1)How SMS is sent to base station with GSM modem? in our block dia of transmitter unit no keyboard is discussed.
2)In receiver site i.e at base station,GSM receiver is used. What is that?We have GSM modem at transmitter site but what is GSM receiver and decoder befor data is sent to computer?
3)How we can track vehicle on google map?Is there any steps for setup?
PLEASE reply as soon as possible...
We are ready to work hard for this project...
