#164354 - Still a bit quick Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am saying that you are very quick to come to conclusions.
An example: Ap said:
You say , It takes days to upload data to displays . No, I have not talked about signs needing days for the upload. I was saying that I have been working with big signs where the information may be sent out days or weeks in advance. The information is scheduled, so the sign will just store the received information and wait until the correct time to switch to new information. This means that it may be acceptable for the communication to take days, not that the transfers actually takes several days. It isn't uncommon that display messages are known a long time in advance, and that the total number of messages displayed in a month is quite limited. When you find a sentence that you do not think make sense. Read it again. If you still don't think a sentence makes sense - ask. That is better than continuing the debate based on a misconception. Where did I say you are wrong? I did post an example of actually used displays to show that the real requirements can depend on usage. You responded with: Ap said:
Doesnt this depends on application to application ? , as you dont know OPs application it cannot be commmented. This implies that you did not catch the meaning of my original post, i.e. that bandwidth needs are depending on application. Ap said:
Is it that I understand poor if I don’t agree to you over some issue Per? No, I do not expect or require other people to agree. But some of your remarks are not about agreeing, but situations where you argue a different question than the quote you form your argument around. Somehow, that may be a failure of mine, to express myself clearly enough. But in some part, it may be a failure of you to spend a bit extra time reading the text before starting to respond. Please post any idioms you do not understand. Either I may teach you what they mean, or you may help me avoid making language mistakes in later posts. I'm not about to try and search for posts where I have told Erik to keep his temper. But I have made several such posts both here and on the Keil forum, and will most probably do it again. But that is a completely different issue. I'm not an official moderator, so I have the advantage that I can select if or when to post. I don't see a problem with a "foolish idea" - I regularly get them :) - but I would most probably post a comment about cooling down if I think someone is directly abusive with a poster. |
