I am very sorry to hear of your bad experience with Newark.
Farnell worldwide have a good reputation for service. They are definitely NOT the most competitive. But they are useful for comparative pricing. I have little experience with ARMs but it is important to be aware of what is on the market. I do not think it is fair to make untrue statements when you know these chips have had integrated RAM for several years. As I said earlier, you can use whichever chips you like. Yes, it is important that there is some second sourcing. Yes, you can choose to avoid products from some particular countries, but you cannot deny they exist. As Andy said, different applications suit different families of mcu. I will try your example sometime. I am pretty certain that it can been done in that time with ASM. I will try it with C. David. |
