The point is that not all ARMs are full bells & whistles monsters - just as not all 8051s are 100MIPS 1-clock wonders with 128K flash, etc. The point is that there are ARMs that fit well into the "microcontroller" space and are seriously price-competitive with comparable 8051s. |
