I already stated, that in combination with a SMPS only a NTC will work!


For a newbie it's very confusing to see, that NTCs and PTCs are manufactured to limit inrush currents.

you will see, that there are not only NTCs for limiting of inrush currents, but also PTCs. Of course, they do work entirely different.

As I said before, not the height of inrush current is limited here, but its duration.
