Hi Steve:

Radio Shack because I don't trust informal tv plans. They give one price then charge your credit card early or more then original price. Radio Shack is honest and will exchange your product if their is a problem or if it's in the exchange period usually 15 days. Informal tv plans do not and you must pay shipping to return it. This products size is 3"x2"x1/2" and I like small electronic units. Like I said before in original post I read up on magic jack and it had a lot negative comments, but I figured if it worked 50 percent of the time it was worth trying. Since my hobby is electronics for last 20 years I figured I might be able to correct the voice choppying problem, but as I read the reply's to my post I may not be able to do this. Only because my back ground in this field of electronics IP Telephony is not up to speed for this techonolgy. http://www.magicjack.com
