All this endless guessing could have been entirely avoided if, yes if, Chico only had given us a link to his Laser modul...

It was mentioned in another post that it was probably salvage from a laser pointer.

A laser pointer has ZERO, NONE, NADA, KEINE (for the benefit of Kai :) ) need of good regulation, as long as the dot is visible to the audience, WGASA if it is very bright or just bright.

Thus if Chico need a very steady illumination, I suggers he measures what goes to the actual diode in the salvage and then make a cc circuit to feed it instead of whatever circuitry the 'module' has.
