#165172 - The reason for Freescale.. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your post. 1. The problem that I have mentioned is not the reason why I am thinking of Freescale. 2. The problem I had mentioned is of an old product for my old customer. I had developed it for my customer many years ago...and he is satisfied with it, using AT89C52....and I do want to dig it again. 3. I am having my own set of products using AT89C55WD, and working well in all sorts of noisy environments. Technically, my current product is working fine in the market without any problems. Because of the tough competition, I have to re-think about the pricing issues. 4. Coincidently, I happened to meet an old friend, now a marketing person (representing many companies including FreeScale). He suggested about using Freescale...So I wanted to get the information if any of our forum members have used this chip before...I know it is totally a different animal. But if it is benefiting financially, then why not have a look at it? Regards |
