I have never 'wanted' to think in a given language, I just have done so without any effort/desire/whatever to make that particular language the language of my thoughts.

The issues is not what language I 'want' to think in, but what languages I (and Craig and others) 'do' happen to think in.

As an example I just realized that half an hour ago, I was muttering to myself in a Danish/French mixture. I really wonder where French comes in, since I have not been to France or spoken French for any significant time in more than twenty years.
