I sure can make this decision that No size restricted tool, whatever the brand, can be truly eveluated
And when working in respectable outfits I have rarely had a problem 'borrowing' full size tools for evaluation. A time limited full tool can be truly evaluated a crippled eval can not serve as a true evaluation. E.g. how would you eveluate Keils floating pont performance with the Keil eval? Thats company policy Sure, I can not decide that a company is to provide me with a fully functional tool for evaluation, but I can decide that if they will not, I will not buy their product. Last I were tasked with a toolset comparison only Tasking refused and thus when we bought 8 seats of the tools we chose, they were definitely not Tasking.
