Maybe I missed it but I still don't see a data rate spec.
As far as the interface, I have been wanting to try the
Si2401-2457 chips from www.silabs.com
While I have not done this myself yet, They have LL DSP commands and the associated modem eq stuff built in.
If I was doing this, it would be one of my first evals if the data rates are in-line. Think Telco even if it's not. A link this long will have all the same issues/dangers.
