If you rely on the Intel doc's then you'll have the formula for the 12-clocker's timers and serial port(s). With the 1-clockers, and 2-clockers, etc, it's a different story, since they don't always tell you how the clock interacts with those features. Likewise, tracking the behavior, say, of a built-in watchdog is no mean trick, as the doc's are often quite thin.
