VB is a tool optimized for those user interfaces such as this one, that don't require lots of fancy processing, but where a polished "look-and-feel" is essential.
Anyone wishing to work long hours and become expert in VB and its various uses can earn well into the 6-figure range here in the U.S. by manipulating Windows app's, writing "slick" interfaces between them, and writing app's that use those popular Windows tools (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS) to do the heavy lifting and simply use VB to do the presentation. He can retire after 10 years with a 10-figure net-worth, since he'll have had no time to spend the money he's earned, as he'll have been in such high demand. One fellow wrote a timing simulator, for one of the Siemens/Infineon MCU's, that runs in EXCEL. Since EXCEL provides arithmetic, graphic, and database functions, it seems it would be well suited for the job. RE |
