The emulator is a real concern. Without it, I will be doomed to a life of debugging other's designs.

I have had talks with an un-named 8051 emulator company, and IF I do this, I would let the user select if they wanted a built-in, real time, JTAG based debugger. If so, it would be added to the design. They would either get the tools form this company directly, or I would sell them through the web.
