The opamp will try to position the output so that the '-'ve terminal is also at ground.
The input current flows into a virtual ground. Because it is virtual, rather than actual ground, the current continues to flow into the feed back resistor. This produces a voltage output = -Iin * Rfb. As long as Rfb is large enough, the output will not go into saturation. If it does, then increase Rfb. |
