I thought that the notion of using lower-case 'b' to mean bits and upper-case 'B' to indicate bytes (as in Bps vs bps, etc) was fairly common.
What's annoying is when there's an actual standard and it's screwed up. How many of you have seen ads for a "500 mHz processor" ? even worse, do you remember when 'uF' was written 'MMF' ? Erik |
