The course (by the way) was a philosophy course, not an electronics course, though some universities count the same course as a mathematics course. And yes, it included a complete treatment of DeMorgan's Theorem, plus all of those other things like Modus Ponens, Modus Tollens, Tautology, and both the Hypothetical and Disjunctive Syllogisms.
yes, is that not the ultimate stupidity of the schools/universities? They do not teach logic to designers of electronic/programming logic. I learned more re minimilization of logic from the Philiosphy courses I took than from any electronics/computing instruction. I strongly recommend Hurley: "Logic" to anyone that want to improve his/her design/programming skills. Erik |
