They desided to change the definiton of the kilogram the story i read was that there is only one standard kilogram which has ever been made and that despite being inside three hermetically sealled glass bell jars keeps on changing weight for reasons which nobody has been able to explain.
Personaly I think they should try to work out why it changes weight rather than throw it in the bin and pretend it never existed. |
