#107187 - Depends Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Jan Waclawek said: The national limits on supply tolerance were changed to +5/10%, which allows 230 V operation. Mainly our supply is 238 at work, except the week before Christmas when one phase went down to 12 !!
By the way, what is the mains voltage in UK now? Europe increased from 220V to 230V and the argument was to match 220V with the british 240V, but I suspect it's still 240V over there, isn't it? An another issue, how do you switch on your light? Downwards or upwards? I know I was really confused while being in England...
When I do 'em usually UP, nationally, down !!! Steve |
