I know you might find it hard to believe that people still use QBasic but it still offers solutions which are cheap and easy. With 75 million PC being thrown into the dump every year they certainly are cheap and plentiful. With it primitive operating system it provides robust response that most users who only have simple things to control want. The evolution of the inp and out function have been extended to visual basic.
