#104800 - Add on card programming |
Hello all,
I need to program the EISA slot of PC (80386,80486 or pentium processor ) to connect a Add on card. Iam in need of the following clarifications in developing the software. 1)i can set the starting address of the card using a DIP switch setting. But how can i program the IOR,IOW and AEN signals of the EISA bus to perform data transmission to the card. Should it be programmed in the software part (or) should a suitable hardware be connected to IOR,IOW and AEN to assert it high or low to enable data transmission. It would be helpful to me if i could get some suggestions in this. -suresh. |
