I can get an used PSU for something like 10~12USD
Notebook supply says normally 3~4A, I can get new one for something like 15~20USD

I dont know what is better, notebook one is probably smaller.
There is no trick to use it? Just connect and it is supplying?
(I seen some with a third pin inside the output connector, dont know what is)

As the LEDs series will be very close to the 12v I thought in using just resistors.
