The AC side caps look redundant, and the DC side can reduce to one.
An inrush power resistor is a good idea, some SMPS use a NTC for inrush limiting. You _will_ need some isolation, and a perspex or similar cover for the leds, to make it somewhat safer. If you do not strobe fast, then a device like PVI5080 will turn a Logic Level power FET, into a solid state relay. An Opto-Scr might also work, looks like current would fall below a SCR holding current. |
