The data sheet RC will work good enough for you as a hobbyist.

I wholehardedly disagree

a true professional will recognize the failures as resulting from a RC reset, a hobbyist will speculate is it my code, is it my hardware, is it ....

also a true professional will immediately test the code integrity if a RC based flash design fails, a hobbyist will start "investigating the cause".

it is a fallacy that hobbyists are "better equipped" to handle marginal designs than professionals.
