mnow that you are showing to be a newbie also: The decoupling cap(s) is WORTHLESS if the traces are more than 1cm. the circuit will be likely to fail if the traces to the crystal and the burden caps are more than 1cm. a comman fallacy is tha "a wire is a wire" it is not, a wire/trace is an inductor (if I recall about 8nH per cm) Erik |
