#175936 - General Comments
Responding to: ???'s previous message
It has been convention in the UNIX and then LINUX world for years that the emitted object file has no extension.

The .ihx extension is used to denote "intel hex" format file.

You cannot expect either one of the above to be related to an untested defect. The package works as it does due to the thinking of the energetic folks that contribute time to make the package. You have no basis to complain about it as it is free. As a matter of fact if you want to see it have more options and work to make .hex files go volunteer as a developer and help add those features. Give back to that community instead of criticizing the package and work of others.

Michael Karas

P.S. I have not yet become a user of SDCC.
