#164946 - Monitor the LCD databus then send via 485
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi all,

Thanks for you guys contribution.

I have the source code of the board A design. And the reason why I don't use its RS485 because I don't want the communication in between A1, A2,A3 and so on to be affected.

I agree with Neil that I may:

1. Feed those DB0 - DB7, RD and WR signal to a 2 byte data on board B.

2. Send the data over to the remote board C via RS485.

3. Mimic on board C display by using the same file (e.g. LCD.c) I use to write on LCD of board A.

Is that realistic?

and the delay time since I capture the data from board A, write on board B, send via RS485 and mimic on board C would not make any adverse effect on LCD display of board C?

Thanks,
