#164926 - How to read and redisplay from LCD databus?
Hi,

I have a circuit board that use 2x16 character LCD (called board A). We want to see whatever show on the LCD of "board A" from a remove board which also has its own 2x16 LCD (called board B).

Therefore, I am thinking of using a micro controller (called board C)that connect to the input pins of LCD "A" (e.g. DB0 - DB7) to read, interpret then transmit the data to the remove board B to re-display.

Is there anyone have any idea about how to do that or having different idea, please?

You may think that's a crazy idea, but it's probably only solution I have since the board A already use RS485 to communicate with A1, A2,... and I cannot feed more data to that COM line.

Thanks,
