This looks good.
I notice that there is the Toolstick, Jim mentioned, and a 'full-blown' DK, the C8051F850-B-DK ($64). What is the difference? The latter appears to be the traditional SiLabs DK with pod, cables and development board.
Does the toolstick come with effectively the same software development environment (Kiel, etc)?
I don't want to pay the $18 shipping charge to the UK to Mouser (no stock here) and find that I should have had the $64 full-fat stuff.
If I buy the toolstick, should I also purchase extra daughter cards - like the F5xx version Jim recommends - at the same time to avoid further shipping?
