I don't think it's intended.
It is very good to always give a visual feedback. But you can almost always create a solution with a visual feedback that does not slow down the use of a terminal. This is very often missed, since developers and product testers are so seldom missing one or more senses - impaired people just don't get the jobs even if they would give exellent feedback to new products. When entering a pin code, the stars are feedback enough. But I feel all systems should have some form of visual feedback for every single key press. If flashing a display, it would be enough to flash it for a short fraction of a second. |
