The fault here is almost certainly in the application - not the OS.


This paticular Agilent software installs and works flawlessly on everything up to Hasta la Vista. Keil installed when "run as administrator" was used, but, till then had the U: missing message.

Why would a "user install" require a U: drive, that does not make sense.

I seer two issues a) it should be possible to do a "user install" and b) if not there should be an understandable message.

re "user install" will windows 8 require you to call a "microsoft certified" joker to install your software?
