#178664 - IC logic still popular here(used) Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hai..
Logic IC families still used here.I think that students sometimes used TTL/CMOS also the availability. Per Westermark said:
A microcontroller normally has a lot of I/O pins. It is easy to design a circuit where the processor has weak drive abilities for all signals of a logic chip, while at the same time are able to measure the actual logic state of the pins.
Then you can generate any test pattern and see what happens. If the processor always manages to drive a signal, then it is an input or not used or in some test patterns a tristated output. Such a tester would just use a bit of clever source code to identify a huge number of 74xx chips. Perhaps with bootloader for MCS-51? Every different TTL/CMOS or even small MCU tested with different code from PC?? Jez said:
reading all the comments from the indians which say the same thing, I want to steal this for my finals project. I don't know if this is happening all over and not just in India but when I was a lad the idea of your finals project was to design something yourself not to steal someone elses. If his place more info..not only me,others also can built. Thank you Jeckson Ben |
