What makes you think such a thing exists? Mouser stock the C8051F326 for £2.28. Silabs might do a less capable chip for less money. Thank's Oliver The package of chip not easy to solder. Nonsense. a- I emphatically disagree. The 'F326 comes in a QFN-28 package, which is a real b@$tard to solder. In one of my products, I used a SiLabs CP2201 USB-to-UART, which has the same footprint. The yield on these things was ~20%! For a time I thought this was my own fault, until I visited a respectable board-assembly house and was told they yielded around 25% on QFN packages. So, yes, I would say they *are* "not easy to solder". Rob. I didn't meant to made "hot discussion" and under estimated the best part from Silabs(the best 8051 products) The PLCC,SSOP/SOP,PDIP,QFP more easy to solder than QFN and BGA.Expecially when working in handmade. They had lids of metal to solder. When we have PCB manufacture ready..then it just my opinion. Thank you Jeckson Ben |
