TotalPhase also makes the Aardvark which does master, slave, and monitoring.
You can write your own PC based program in multiple languages like VB, python, C...

I've had a generally good experience using the Aardvark. The only issue I've had is with
the GUI program that comes with it which will lock up or crash if there is a lot of continues data
on the I2C bus (when analyzing/monitoring). I've never had that problem when writing my own software though.
