Most users have access to a substantial block of documented and tested code in the compiler libraries, but some still code string functions, math functions and container functions from scratch (or in assembler). I must admit that I'm still not using an off the shelf RTOS, but probably should be.
I guess there isn't really a controlling group to standardise low level code libraries for stuff like LCD and UARTs. |
