Jan My guess is that the concept is "cool" to play with, but costs too much for normal products, while the majority of products will not get any real benefit from the concept. They have peacocks with "the looks" but that are not producing correspondingly stellar results. Exactly. I mean, MicroBlaze and the EDK certainly work, but it's expensive (you need a larger FPGA than you'd like to use) and the performance is unspectacular. -a |
