#175570 - Zylogic

I get a very bad feeling about zylogic products

Likewise.

I get the distinct feeling that Zylogic was still-born - see: http://www.8052.com/forumchat/read/170548

:-(

as a tool for learning about System on a chip design then its fine

In view of the above, I disagree. I don't think there's any support there (not in Enlgish, anyhow).

I would hesitate before using their products in real life.

I wouldn't even consider it.

If you have a real life product where the ecomonics of using a softcore processor sort of look atractive...

Do remember that the USP of Triscend (and, thus, Zylogic) was that the processor core was not soft - it was a hard 8051 or ARM-7 processor, with FPGA.
