No wait I should have paid more attention in philosophy class.

It is why there is philosophy. We will not see the end of the universe, the Sun, or our planet. Yet we live and still have kids.

I do not think we will destroy the Planet and every living thing on it. I do believe that at some point there is not enough energy and too many people making to much pollution will create a biblical event in the future. We can theoretically stop it, but do not have the collective will to do it.
So think locally and hope it acts globally.
