I think the number of legs on a centipede is equally intersting as a few plastic bottles floating in the ocean.

No, I do not believe that we should work at dirtying our planet, but I also believe that many reactions are way beyond reasonable. Most of the environmental 'remedies', so far has shown to be proof of the law of unintended consequences.
