... as it's too much and the downstream neighbours would scream. So we simply pile them up at places where it's believed is not that visible. I don't think we do this much differently from other similar countries around, including the "developed west". We are talking about the bulk of the waste, not the leftovers - I admit our streets might be not THAT clean. This for example bothers me personally more than where the bulk ends up, and I can do roughly the same for it. I try not to litter, I teach my children not to litter, and that's about it.
Yes we do recycle - I personally do and we have programs and laws etc.etc. - but I don't think anybody but the politicians would believe this seriously helps in the long run. JW |
