#172936 - It is entirely pertinent to the original question! Responding to: ???'s previous message |

...by reading this verbal duel over nothing. The original question has been left out in the dirt. No, it hasn't! The meaning of the word "transformer" is entirely pertinent - essential, in fact - to the original question! That is because the original question is about DC - and a true transformer will not work at DC. Therefore, if someone says "use a current transformer" (meaning a Hall sensor), but the OP doesn't realise, and uses a true transformer - it won't work, and his time will have been wasted! That's why it's important to use accurate & precise terminology. |
