Thanks everybody, for helping me in this thread.

One thing is for sure: Hall Effect Sensor for measuring the current.

Now coming to the next part: which MOSFET to use?

We are thinking of bringing out a range of products: 50Amps, 100Amps, 200Amps, 500 Amps, 750 Amps, 1000 Amps.

Which MOSFET(s) can I use for these range?

What should be the drive circuit using MCS51? I have never used MOSFETs before.
