With the Tour of Britain being televised on ITV4 I have noticed an increased awareness of cyclists in general and Ive been accosted quite afew time by people asking me about the club when I am out riding, out club kit is a pretty hard to miss pink/blue lycra number ;-)
I think people see the racing on the telly and think it looks easy but anything which gets them involved has got to be a good thing, I don't like to tell them that serious road racing hurts a lot and you have to be pretty outstanding to compete at prefessional level.
