#166962 - Off topic TdF
I was watching todays stage of the tour De France today with everyone crashing on the wet road markings in Barcelona, and it struck me as a good example of why people put themselves through pain and suffering because they have some passion in their lives. These are 200 of the best cyclists in the world today and they know what its like to keep going despite thinking that every breath is going to be thier last.
Thats why I do cycle racing anyway it hurts like hell, its dangerous but its additive and when you win there is no feeling like it.
The stage to watch is going up alpe D'Huez which Pantani rode in something like 37 minutes which would kill any normal person.
