 		 #166965 - I love watching Alpe d'Huez

Alpe d'Huez has always been one of my faviourite climbs to watch.

I especially like one time when Greg LeMond did race up Alpe d'Huez and quite high up looked down and smiled at the main contenders two hairpins down. He didn't win the stage or even sprint at the finish - the distance to the contenders was all he wanted.

A bothersome thing about this climb is the list of fastest climbs in this link:

You have to go all the way to 24th place to find a time before 1990 :(
