 		 #164826 - Circuit name for a "servo"
Hello, I want to build a servo, dont know if this is called closed-loop.
I want to attach a potentiometer or some type of optical system in the shaft of the motor.
Then I want a circuit that controls motor by a constant voltage in circuit's input, 0 to 5V is nice.
So circuit will control motor on/off CW/CCW to feedback system voltage (potentiometer...) is equal to inputs voltage.

One of the ideas is to use a HDD head to act as a servo. I'm trying something using an ADC and a L293, controlled by a microcontroller, but it is expensive and I couldnt get a nice result yet.

If you have some type of circuit that fits this and can send me, or just a name of the circuit so I can search will help a lot, I'm from Brazil, almost all resources are in english, and I dont know the right terms to search.
